Mountain Survivors

Mountain Survivors tells the inspirational stories of cancer victims from Appalachia in their own words. The program is hosted by cancer survivor, Sam Neace. Every survivor has an amazing story. Now, those stories will be shared with the world.

May's guest for Mountain Survivors is Roy Tackett. Along with surviving cancer, Roy has also survived a liver transplant. Not only is he still alive and doing well, but he lives an interesting life as a musician and host of the radio show Possum Opry on WMMT from 10am until 1pm every Monday.
